Andrea Beacom -Blackwell is a Venice, FL native and graduate of Venice High School. She returned with her husband Scott, and is happy to once again call Venice home. Andrea's family developed communities in town for over twenty years, making real estate a natural fit. As a Venice native, her expert knowledge of the market pairs with her collaborative style, ensuring her clients that she holds their best interest as her top priority. After graduating from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, where she received her Bachelor's degree in international marketing/political science, she worked in human resources and in the mortgage industry. Wanting to control her destiny, Andrea became a successful entrepreneur, owning six Fantastic Sam's outposts and serving as the only women on its national marketing board. Andrea honed her negotiating, customer service, planning and marketing skills which she now brings to each transaction. Wanting to continue her education, she received her brokers license for North Carolina and her Interior Design certification through the New York Institute of Design. She has volunteered with Hospice, Junior League and Clemson Woman's Alumnae Council. Free time is spent boating and fishing with her husband, playing tennis and spending time with her children and family. She is a member of the Venice Area Board of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.
